Sometimes I do this thing were I pick a CD I haven't listened to for a while and play it. Today I chose The Verve's Northern Soul and the repeat button got stuck on History. It takes it inspiration from Blake's London from Songs of Innocence and Experience, but then Blake wrote all most of his poems as songs anyway. It's just such a beautiful ( Read more... )

Just seen the Kaiser Chiefs on telly saying it's odd that they won Best Rock Act at the Brits. They reckon they you can tell they are an indie back because:-

"We don't have any tattoos and we wear our coats on stage."

So there you go folks - that's how you tell the difference!
